ADL
ADL is a manual device used to crimp 1" and/or 20 mm aerosol valves onto tin cans or bottles made of glass
or similar materials.
The crimping must be carried out manually: every valve is crimped onto one can at a time.
To perform the crimping operation, it is necessary to place the valve on the can and then to position
the can under the crimping head.
The crimping lever (see photo) is then moved downward until it reaches the valve.
ADL enables pre-production of limited-series products and is very versatile allowing crimping
valves onto cans ranging from 60 mm to 300 mm in height.
The tool consists of a frame on which the head supporting column is installed.
A lever connected to the crimping head allows it to be moved up and down to perform the
crimping operation. The front part of the frame provides a place to prepare the cans for crimping.
Before positioning the cans under the crimping head, the valves must be placed on the cans.
